Banqsoft was joined by its 165+ customers across the Nordics and around the globe to commence Banqsoft's digital user conference, ViewPoint on November 15th.
Key highlights in the conference included demos of Banqsoft's newest user interface for customer onboarding and originations, PreView, as well as our latest Business Intelligence platform known as IntelliView and LiveView, which showcased new functionalities for advanced analytics and reporting and deep-dive analysis for businesses. Banqsoft product owners and experts also presented about new developments in their business areas, including continuous integration and delivery initiatives, core product education within the Credit Management business area and more.
We would like to extend an extra special thanks to our special guests, Bank Norwegian and Volkswagen Semler Financial Services in Denmark, key Banqsoft customers that proven giant leaps towards digitization and huge growth in the past year, including an exciting expansion to Spain and Germany, and becoming Denmark's leading financial services provider backed by Banqsoft's solutions!
In addition to these highlights, Business Area Directors and CEO Terje Kjøs joined the conference LIVE from a studio in Oslo in a panel to discuss new developments in Banqsoft, what's ahead for Banqsoft customers, as well as market trends and industry insights.
Keynote Speaker
To conclude the conference, Banqsoft was joined by Keynote Speaker Neal Cross, globally recognized corporate, social and Fintech entrepreneur with an over 20 year long track record across blue-chip technology, finance and data companies. Neal is currently co-founder and non-exec chairman of PictureWealth, one of the world’s fastest growing wealth fintech companies and serves on the advisory board of Razer Fintech. Prior to this, Cross was the Chief Innovation Officer at DBS Bank, where in his tenure he drove their transformation into a global innovation powerhouse culminating in achieving the world’s best Digital Bank 2016 and 2018 and worlds best bank 3 times across 2018 and 2019.
Neal Cross has personally been awarded the world’s most disruptive CIO/CTO globally from judges Sir Richard Branson and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and is a regular winner of best innovation lab and innovation leader awards.
Previous to DBS, Neal Cross was at MasterCard, where he was responsible for driving innovation as Vice President of MasterCard Labs in the company’s Asia/Pacific, Middle East and Africa regions.

Lessons from Jungle Innovations
In this relatable and inspiring talk, renowned innovator Neal Cross described his mission to save orangutans in Sumatran rainforests by boosting conservation tourism. Through his journey of ‘jungle innovation’ Neal identified lessons that were instrumental in accomplishing the building of a beautiful boutique hotel in a remote Sumatran jungle—and links these lessons back to the corporate world. With infectious zeal, Neal engaged the audience with stories and examples of how to execute innovation, whether in the thumping heart of a city or the deep tranquil of a rainforest.
